From the minds of Julio Torres and Ana Fabrega, alongside Fred Armisen and Lorne Michaels of Saturday Night Live, comes the Spanish-language comedy Los Espookys. The half-hour, six-episode series follows a group of friends who turn their love for horror into a peculiar business.
Los Espookys premieres June 19.

The first episode aired yesterday. Loved it. Great cast and really funny.

I saw the creators on a late night show and they showed a clip. It was hilarious. I don't have HBO so I'll watch this next year when I do my "subscribe to CraveTV for a month and watch everything I need to watch". Bonus, at 6 x 30 min this will be a quick watch.

I have watched three episodes so far and this show is great. It also forces you to watch and enjoy the absurdity of the show because it is subtitled. Another funny thing, when a character is speaking in English you get Spanish subtitles which is just hilarious.
ETA: Good news, it was renewed for a second season.

Looking forward to S2! I really liked this. Bizarre but not 'stupid'. I loved Tati's jobs.

I finally started on this one and I just wrapped up episode 2 -- fucking hysterical show and Tati rocks! I was rolling during the "fan" gag in the first episode. She actually co-wrote the entire season with Armisen and Julio Torres - he plays the blue haired chocolate empire heir.
I do love the Latino sight gags -- how their name appears on the business card is spelled differently "Los Espukis," which they parodied from Mexican group Los Bukis.
