Cooking is a journey. And making a meal is about more than just food. It’s about appreciating friends, family and tradition. An opportunity to come together. To learn, to share and to celebrate different flavors, cultures and people. The Chef Show is Executive Produced and directed by Jon Favreau. Roy Choi and Annie Johnson also serve as Executive Producers. Coming to Netflix June 7.

That's the first one that I watched, too. Hooked me on the show immediately.Overall I think the show is pretty great, and far more entertaining than the actual movie. The way Roy and Jon interact is fun and feels pretty real (whether it's how they are normally is unknowable, but yeah..). I also liked the one with the guy from Ugly Delicious; he and Roy talking about Korean culture/food was really interesting.
I like the animations they do where the recipes get an "exploded view."
Very cool.

We watched premier. The Paltrow stuff was just...odd? The rest was pretty good. Will check out one or two more before deciding to go through them all. Regardless, good summer content.

I liked how awkward the Paltrow stuff was, it geuinely seemed like they had no plan and were just figuring things out. Plus Favreau just seemed like a huge dork which was relatable.

His 10 minute cooking school episodes were way better IMO. The episodes with Aaron Franklin pretty much buried what Rodriguez made. He lost even more respect by making a ...ahem, cauliflower pizza.
Of course, I had some Franklin’s BBQ a couple of days ago, so that’s pretty fresh on my mind.
