Break out the kerchiefs for Kercheval. Good old Cliff. Ah, the '80s, when we would sit as a family on Friday nights and enjoy some good trash like Dallas.

In response to fan's question to him about when he would finally get 'ol J.R., he'd respond "this Friday".

I could be wrong, but I think the last we saw of Cliff (on the Dallas reboot on TNT) he was rotting away in a Mexican prison.

I was watching Pyramid reruns a couple of years ago. One of the episodes was from 1985 and Kercheval was excited because he had just bought a popcorn company. Since it was 2017 I went ahead and googled Ken Kercheval popcorn, and this came up from 1989.

As a kid/teen, I would spend the weekend with my Grandparents. My Grandma and I would watch The Dukes of Hazzard, Dallas and Falcon Crest on Friday nights. Good times. I wish I could go back to those days.

Don't we all. The childhood years are irreplaceable, and one doesn't know it at the time, which is for the best.

Just saw him in an old Perry Mason episode last week. He went on to guest star in so many shows from the 70s to the 90s.
