ICICLE RETURNS - When Icicle (guest star Kyle Secor) returns to enact the next phase of his devious plan, Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and her mother, Dr. Carla Tannhauser (guest star Susan Walters), must resolve their long-combative relationship to defeat the icy monster. After Barry (Grant Gustin) makes a big decision about their family without consulting her, Iris (Candice Patton) decides to take matters into her own hands. Jeff Cassidy directed the episode written by Jonathan Butler & Gabriel Garza (#519). Original airdate 4/23/2019.

Ack poorly staged fighting? How did her dad get in the way of Cicada's blade when he had left the room? Ugh

All this stuff with the big baby Nora is the worst thing going with this show.
I hate it and now we have to deal with her being another super villain speedster.

I'm with Ben. I don't mind XS or Sherloque which seem to draw most people's ire. I don't mind Cicada either other than it's dragged on longer than need be, but that's with every season.
I am curious as to if XS's antics will release Reverse Flash and we get another round of him as a villain next year, or at least up to the cross-over. RF is still the best villain, so I'm down for more of evil Wells taunting Barry.

I haven't minded this season for the most part. I've liked seeing the return of Reverse Flash. They ran Cicada into the ground. The season would get higher marks for me if they had ended his run earlier.
