DC's Earth One Line
Has anyone read DC's Earth One line of graphic novels? Just checked a few out from the library. So far I've read the first Superman volume and the first two Batman Volumes. The Batman ones seem to be the best and they have an almost real world approach to the stories. Loved the alternative take on Alfred and Bruce Wayne being new and pretty much untrained to be Batman is a neat angle. The artwork is great on both titles. I still Have Wonder Woman and Green Lantern to read yet. Wish volume 3 of Batman was out already.

I’m not even sure how many there are, but I read the first two volumes of the Superman title and volume one of the Batman one. I liked them enough but don’t remember them all that well.

Haven't read it, but I hear the Wonder Woman one is a way different interpretation of the character. I wasn't super-impressed by Superman Year One. Felt too much like a Hollywood reinvention made for the screen than an honest attempt at rebooting Superman's background.

I did a little checking with my county library and I read the second volume, -I had actually forgotten and remember almost nothing about it.

I read the first Earth One Wonder Woman GN and it was pretty much a movie script treatment in Comics form; in fact, one character (who became WW's side-kick) was drawn to look like actress Rebel Wilson and had her screen persona.

Hell, I get that idea from the regular comics these days to. It worked for Johns on Shazam. Expect to see more of it going forward.
