"Blowed Up" - Luke Mitchell and Anna Wood star in the new drama about the military's brightest minds who tackle the toughest challenges facing the United States Marine Corps. When a soldier in Afghanistan kills his commanding officer, Judge Advocates Capt. John "Abe" Abraham (Mitchell) and Capt. Maya Dobbins (Wood) are assigned to the case as prosecution and defense lawyers by their commanding officer, Col. Glenn Turnbull (Dana Delany), on the series premiere of THE CODE, Tuesday, April 9 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Ato Essandoh, Phillipa Soo and Raffi Barsoumian also star.
THE CODE is a drama about the military's brightest minds who tackle the toughest legal challenges facing the U.S. Marine Corps. As prosecutors, defense lawyers, and investigators, these Marines work together to serve their country with integrity while often putting aside their personal ideals for the sake of justice. Operating out of Judge Advocate General Headquarters in Quantico, Captain John "Abe" Abraham is a driven prosecutor for whom becoming a Marine is a longstanding family tradition and a responsibility he treats with devotion and passion. His colleague and friend, Captain Maya Dobbins, is the fearless lead defense attorney who is never hesitant to go up against one of her own, but is also a team player if it means finding the truth. Major Trey Ferry is Abe's eloquent and wise superior officer working for the prosecution who pursues suspects with ferocity. Commanding officer Colonel Glenn Turnbull, one of the highest-ranking female officers in the Judge Advocate Corps, demands excellence of herself and her staff, while inspiring intense loyalty. Assisting the team is Lt. Harper Li, a highly capable lawyer who is eager to take on bigger cases, and tech-savvy, efficient Warrant Officer Rami Ahmadi, the Marine equivalent of a paralegal. These active duty Marines are attorneys who have chosen to serve their country in pursuit of military justice at home and abroad.

When I first heard about this show, I thought Dana Delany was the star. I guess not. Looks like Luke Mitchell is the lead. Looks like Dana is a supporting character.
For those who watch Blindspot, he played Jane's brother and had a long arc on that show. This looks similar to JAG.

I was planning on skipping this one, but I like Dana. But if I skip it, it will probably run for 9 years.
So might wait and see how it does ratings wise before jumping in. I just hope someone orders a "code" red.

Have any of the final episodes aired since the trial episode? Even with CBS out my DVR was picking them up but I haven't seen any since then.

Being a "legal" program, most episodes had a trial. It finished its 12 episode run and was cancelled, ie no season 2, but no episodes were dumped/

Ok, maybe I should have been more specific (and I know it was cancelled). The trial of Abe that aired a couple weeks back. Was that the last?

It looks like Directv will not put the finale on demand since it aired int the blackout period during the CBS vs Directv dispute
