I'm quickly losing interest in this show. I don't like Cryer as Lex. I never like Lena much anyway, so shifting the focus of the show to the Luthors is putting me off. Too much time spent on side-stories too, like J'onn and James.

I've seen I think the 1st 2 episodes of this season and the Elseworlds one, but nothing else.
I got turned off by the obvious parallel to what's going on in the real world and I'm not really interested in living thru that twice at the same time.
So I ask those who are left watching, is it worth it to still binge this?

This show is very divisive among the folks here, but I think it's been a pretty good season. The Lex arc has been pretty good.
They've gone into more traditional villain/comic storylines this year and from what I can tell have kept real world plots out of it.

However, these last few episodes have been terrific because writing "Lex Luthor" (and I'm surprised to say I really like Cryer in the role) seems to focus them on a more entertaining pure villainy with less real world touchy-feely "It's all a metaphor (or an allegory, or whatever)"-type baggage.

I didn't care for the obvious moralizing/pandering episodes, so I'm glad they've moved away from that for the time being, but I don't much care for these recent ones either.
I am interested in the "Russian Supergirl" subplot, though.

Nice nod to a fellow CW series: Crazy Lex Girlfriend.
I think the politics are still there, now they have something in addition.

Oh, it's still there, but for two episodes they pulled back a bit. Last week's episode is getting it more in line with their awful "Alien" allegory; still it was a more interesting plot than they generally (heavy)hand us.

From what I can tell, I don't watch regularly anymore, the whole season remains some sort of political allegory.
After watching this episode, my only impression is that Alex has the worst haircut on television. It's something you might see in a parody or lampoon of a lesbian woman.
