Every time I click on something in the forum I get this while the screen loads:

I just made a thread about this also. Cloudflare is a service which checks IPs to make sure you're not a Bot. Few sites I visit use it. Looks like it may have been implemented here last night?

I noticed the site was very slow this morning, possible DDOS attack that triggered this protection upstream?

Yeah, must have started late last night as I got the old school db error and couldn't access anything. That's a new protection layer that I haven't seen before.

I would think our cookies would notify the db we are routine members, and aren't a threat.

CloudFlare doesn't care. It will always re-check your IP after a bit of inactivity.

CloudFlare has always been on the site, but it tightens up as there are risks. I'll consult with tech, but it's possible there was a DDoS attack. Is anyone still getting it?

If you're asking if we're still getting the "checking your browser" page, then yes. I just saw it again.

I've only gotten it twice.

But the site was down last night with the database errors.

If it's always done that...then it's doing more than just re-checking my IP.

First time seeing it. Minor inconvenience, but it had me curious as well.

I keep getting that screen even if I keep this site open on my browser but don't do anything for 10 minutes or so.

I've seen the message a few times today a well. Using Chrome if that matters.

Chrome for Android with all latest updates to both.

Saw it a few times too today and also saw the DB errors earlier.

This is my first visit today and saw it. Like the rest of you I wondered what it was and checked here before doing a report.

I'm getting it every time now.

I asked tech and they said it's just some lingering effects from some testing that was done last night. Should dissipate within a day or so.

I am getting that as well all day long today.

I got database errors early this morning, too.

Just got the CloudFlare thing again as well as the db errors this AM.

Still getting a Cloudflare notification at 9:45pm
