Mark this Forum Read ~ Not Working
Using Microsoft Edge, the Mark Forums read option does not seem to be working any more. When I select this option, nothing seems to be happening. No cursor spinning or any indication of anything happening at all. This is a recent occurrence.

It works perfectly fine for me but I'm using Firefox 55. I don't use IE or Edge, those browsers are too problematic and unsecured. I can't risk browsing the internet using crap that sucks in malware.

Also lets make sure we are all using the same OS. Trevor is using Apple's OS. I am using Windows 10. Wonder if it is a browser or OS problem?

Thanks Sonic.
I tried it on Windows 7, using IE 11 and it still would not set the threads to read. So it is not the OS that matters. It appears to be IE 11 or Edge. Both of these browsers are Microsoft created.
Sonic, you can confirm this by using either one of those browsers to see if you can mark threads read. I am asking you to check because those browsers are already on your machine. I would have to download and install FireFox.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Mark this Forum Read ~ Not Working
I think I know what the issue is. Do you have a specific forum bookmarked (or are you always using the autocomplete in your browser)? If so, you probably have it bookmarked as http://forum.dvdtalk.com/[whatever]
If you change your bookmarked link from "http" to "https", it should work. 'Mark this forum read' works when I'm looking at a forum under HTTPS, but it doesn't under plain ol' HTTP.

I had the forum bookmarked as http://forum.dvdtalk.com/tv-talk-14. Once I changed the bookmark to https://forum.dvdtalk.com/tv-talk-14, the mark read application works again.
Now how did you EVER figure that out, Adam? Why all of a sudden did the forum not work with http:? And more importantly, why does it work with https:??
It is crazy that I have three machines all with the reference to this forum using http:

Recently dvdtalk transitioned to https (more secured) so it affected various things on the site including embedded of YT vids.
