Need Moderation in HD Talk Twin Peaks Release Thread please
Can someone please do some moderation in the HD Talk thread - Twin Peaks: Season 3/The Return - 12/5/17 ?
There are multiple spoilers in there. First, it was my understanding that there should not be spoilers in ANY release thread, though general impressions, favorable or not, are OK. Second, the spoiler tag is available and is not being used.
I've been around here for years, and I have never seen so many unabashed spoilers in a release thread. Sure, there's the occasional slip-up.
There's plenty of reasons for someone to want to look at a release thread and not want to see spoilers.
I asked in that thread that the mods please change the title to indicate that it contains spoilers. I see that this has not been done. Parts have already been ruined for me, but hopefully a warning would prevent that from happening to someone else.
Thanks.

The "Report this post to a moderator" feature (
) will directly alert a moderator to your concerns. Private messaging a mod is another alternative. The danger of posting requests in-thread is that moderators won't always be able to read every post in every thread.
Personally, I don't consider what's in that thread to be the sort of egregious spoilers that would require a warning or a tag -- broad strokes, by and large. I did put a note in the title, though, and I added spoiler tags around a couple of things.
