I'm not trying to call out any specific user, but I was curious...

The current rule about this is "-Only one post each day" which, given how inactive that thread really is, seems to not make much sense because the thread is already stickied, and you end up with a single page having three or more identical posts from the same user in the span of only 15 posts in the thread.

Would it make more sense to change the rule to "post once every 25 posts or more" such that (on newb settings) someone only has one post per page?

On other forums, I've see it is either once per "page" (as above), or once every 3 pages (one forum has 50 posts per page, and they say you can't re-post your list in that thread until 150 posts after your last post in the thread). The latter (150 post buffer) is obviously overkill for a place like this... but I think once per page makes sense.

I approve of this, and I do care. I like checking regularly. But those particular couple of posters who keep posting their dozens of movies (Including ones sold? What's up with that?) who repost every few posts. It gets cumbersome. I'm all for any new rules or changes implemented. At the very minimum, I say any poster who wants to post 10 or more codes for sale, that they need to spoilerize them.

^ I don't know about spoilerizing, but to keep reposting the same codes for sale at the same price on the same page is pretty annoying.

I've stopped looking at those mega lists except for once in awhile.
I'd be happy if they just put their changes (prices/additions), if any, at the top of their post.

I find it annoying too.

Maybe limit the giant list posts to once a week. And allow a small "Update" post if some new titles just came in.

And the SOLD listings should be removed. It screws up the search results.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who doesn't like the huge lists from the same people every few days. It's annoying, because a lot of those lists are lengthy because they can be found cheaper elsewhere, so I doubt anyone is going to buy those codes (except for OldBoy).

yo...someone's got to do something with bigjim in this thread. he keeps deleting and reposting day after day the same list so it gets bumped. every day. c'mon...

anything on this? again today. isn't deleting and reposting to bump some kinda rule?

The rules specifically say that you can only repost once per day. That's what he's doing. Deleting the previous posts just keeps the thread cleaner.
I started this thread because I think it should be once per page. Period. You're guilty of reposting the same list multiple times per page, so it's funny that you're complaining about someone doing basically the same thing, except deleting the old posts as he goes.

I do it once a day, sometimes every other day. It says you can in the rules.

i don't do that at all. i only post when i have a change of price, decrease or add another code. that's all. i don't delete old post, but then again i don't do this nearly every day...

Anyway, it really doesn't matter. I made this thread to see if the mods would consider making it so you can't repost on the same page, whether you delete posts or not. Also I'd like to see longer lists in spoiler tags, but that's me.
