Beck -- "Colors" -- 10/13/17
So Beck's new song Dreams has been on regular rotation for the past few weeks on the radio. Which brought up a few things.
1) Never expected to hear "new" Beck in regular rotation on the radio again
2) I initially thought it was Walk The Moon song, but it was nowhere near as god awful as Shut Up and Dance.
3) I feel like this is Beck trolling the music industry with how easily he can throw together a pop song if he wanted to.

It's a catchy song, fits well in the Naked and Famous / Foster the People / MGMT genre that was popular a few years back.

I've listened to the song a ton of times since it came out. It'll be fun to have an album that'll presumably contain other dance type tracks.

Beck has formally announced his upbeat new album Colors, and released a first single, “Dear Life.” Colors is out October 13 from Capitol. It follows Morning Phase, which won Album of the Year at the 2015 Grammys.
Two earlier Beck singles, “Dreams” and “Wow” also appear on the new album. Another song, “Up All Night” previously appeared in the FIFA 2017 soundtrack and in an ad for smartwatches. Hear “Dear Life” and see the album artwork and track list below.

Was gonna say, at this rate seemed like he was gonna release the whole album as singles over the last few years. Nice to have a solid release date.
Wow sounded like a reject from The Information, but I'm liking Dear Life.

I'm hit or miss on Beck. I think this album is a pop/dance masterpiece. He's having a hell of a good time here, and I like all 11 songs.

He fiiiiiiiiiiinally added some new headlining dates near me. Hopefully, I'll be going to The Garden.
