After a 5-year hiatus, Bon Iver finally returns with a new album on Sept. 30. New single is called "33 GOD" and all the song titles have numbers in them. I've listened to a pair of two extended versions of a couple other album tracks on Apple Music.

I absolutely love his first two albums from 2008 and 2011. He is certainly not for everybody though.

If someone could get 33 GOD to embed, that would be great.

Me too. I like what I'm hearing so far. Youtube has him performing the whole new album in sequence live from a few weeks ago. It's good quality sound too.

One week away from release. Can't fucking wait. I wish it was streaming somewhere early.

22, A Million is going to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 album charts. I really like the album.

The critics love it, but it's an acquired taste for sure. Very short and different from his last one.

It didn't quite make it to #1, but got pretty close.

I'm not sure if i like this one or not. It's a little too processed sounding to me, but then again, both his other albums were slow growers to me as well, so I'll give it time.

I'm guessing we never get another For Emma, Forever Ago. I really wish the record industry would let their bigger talents release more output than the typical one album per 3-5 year cycle.

I really love all 3 albums. It would be nice to get another For Emma type record. But this new one is pretty fucking good.

I still like the middle one the best.

Has anyone seen a live show where he performs these newer songs? I know one leg overseas was cancelled.
