Fleetwood Mac's 1979 Tusk album returns in 7-disc format
Fleetwood Mac will release an expanded version of 1979 album Tusk on December 4.
The double-length work was a departure from highly successful predecessor Rumours, and it was the most expensive album recorded up to that point, costing over $1m to produce.
The deluxe edition contains five CDs, a DVD and two vinyl discs, which offer the original remastered album, unheard session recordings plus singles, demos, remixes and and live tracks.
Tusk will also be available in 3CD and single-disc editions.
Fleetwood Mac are currently touring the world with returned keyboardist Christine McVie, and they’re expected to release a new album in the near future.

Sounds worthy picking up though I don't have use for the vinyls.

I enjoyed FM's Tusk & do think it's one of their best & underrated albums. However, I already have the re-issue CD set they came out with in the 200X'S?! And, that's good enough for me - no need for vinyl (for one thing, I don't have a record player).

Yeah this was already remastered in 2004 with demos, outtakes and alternate versions on the second disc. However, a 5.1 mix on DVD-Audio is included. The Rumours 5.1 DVD-A was awesome. Hopefully, it will be sold separately.

HD Tracks has the previous releases as 96/24 downloads so my guess is that Tusk will also be available.

This is up for pre-order on Amazon ($109.99). Looks like the vinyl is simply a re-issue of the original album. The new content looks to be isolated to the CDs.
