This is really a solid double bill. I've never seen the Church live, so I wouldn't mind seeing this tour. I've seen the Furs several times these past 25 plus years. Most recently at the Birchmere in Alexandria Virginia a few months ago. They've always put on a great show but their performance at the Birchmere was not very good IMO. Just felt like a Furs cover band doing Furs music. But I will check this show out for sure!

Loved both bands since the 80's. I've seen the Furs various times and have never been disappointed. I saw the Church 2 months ago for the first time and they were really good. This should be a real good show.

It's Silver Spring, singular Didn't the Furs also do a concert over at the State Theater in Falls Church Daytripper?

Saw The Church in '88. After they played "Under the Milky Way", Steve Kilbey said, "Anyone who leaves right now should have 'Yuppy' stamped on their forehead."

Will definitely go see them in Royal Oak.

I saw the Furs in 1983, never seen The Church. I might be tempted to see them if I didn't have to bother getting into a car (i.e., the venue was in walking distance), but with so many great current bands putting out excellent music and touring, it's hard for me to get excited about these nostalgia tours.

Seen the church a few times, most recently a few months ago, in a tiny place in SF -- oddly enough called the Chapel !

it only holds about 300 - they play here fairly often it seems - not sure why
