Maggie -- D: Hobson S: Schwarzenegger, Breslin -- 2015

Director: Henry Hobson
Writer: John Scott III
Cast:
Arnold Schwarzenegger
Abigail Breslin
Joely Richardson

Plot:
A teenage girl in the Midwest becomes infected by an outbreak of a disease that slowly turns the infected into cannibalistic zombies. During her transformation, her loving father stays by her side.

-------

Certainly a departure from Arnie's typical roles.

Interesting. It definitely isn't the typical Schwarzenegger action role but it sounds like it could be good to me. I'm not a huge fan of zombie films is the only thing but this sounds like it could have a different vibe than the typical stuff that gets churned out from the genre now days. I'll check it out for sure.

FYI it's PG-13. Isn't too surprising considering it's not an action movie, but still...

It sounds almost more like a drama with zombie aspects to it. If that's the case I don't think it'll be too much of a problem. Besides that PG-13 films can get away with quite a bit in terms of violence and blood so if there are any zombie deaths or whatever it should be fine.

I dig it. Especially if we can Arnold flex his acting muscles.

I'm in. I'm getting a surprisingly low key vibe from Arnold in the trailer. Sort of like Stallone in Copland, only with zombies. Plus it looks like a different take on the genre, which is refreshing.

As tired as I am of zombies in general, this looks like it could be something worth watching. Arnie showing range? I'm in.

Trailer looks good, i'm curious to see if Arnold can pull off a decent range of emotions.

Trailer looked good, but then Arnold only had one VO line.

This looks damn good, I'm excited for it. It'll be nice seeing Arnold in something that isn't his normal type of film.

Wow, this looks like it could be something completely different. As both a zombie film and his role. I hope it is as good as the trailer makes it seem.

Wow, this is actually playing at my Laemmle's theater. I'm surprised it's not at the ArcLight. Checking out this weekend.
