I don't understand why this movie didn't give me a trauma as a kid.

Or more importantly, why I think this movie is way more fucked up than "The Terminator".

When I was a kid, I saw a film that gave me nightmares for years as at the end of it , the devil blows up the earth. That is all I remember of the film and it took me over 20 years to find out what it was:

This raises a good point... The films I remember from when I was 4-8 years old were all dark and sharp. I don't distinctly remember the fluffy stuff.

By the time I was 10, I was already an elitist film snob.

You weren't a child when this came out, you were probably already 30 or 40.

Found this a few months ago. Haven't had a chance to re-watch it yet.
