Hey! I just read the death not manga and loved it.

I want to buy the series on blu-ray, but I cant seem to find it anywhere.
Any idea if it will be coming to blu-ray any time soon?

It seems like a popular enough show ( I could be wrong about that), so I would guess it will come out eventually. I'm sure Chris or someone will come along to give a more informed answer.

There is no Blu-ray in Japan. The series was created in standard definition, so anything in Blu-ray would have to be upscaled. VAP handles home video release in Japan for Death Note and they are known to do some poor upscales in the past. If there is a Blu-ray release in the future, I'm not sure how good the upscale can be. Until something happens on the Japan side, I don't see Viz Media doing anything for Blu-ray for North America.

I don't foresee it hitting Blu-ray, unless a reboot series or the stuck-in-development-hell Hollywood movie ever got made.

The Japanese movie adaptations did get released on Blu-ray.
