Actors who look/seem older than their age?

Any?

One thing I noticed: Back in 90's and before, some looked genuinely older than their age. Then there were a good amount of who did not exactly look older, they just seemed more mature than most actor/actresses today.

I concur with JumpCutz but then again he may be wrong.

I'm still surprised that Wilford Brimley was just in his late 40s when he made The thing and was only in his very early 50s when he filmed Coccoon.

Walter Brennan always played an old man even though he was in his 40s and 50s during his prime.

I would say Seth Rogen is the only answer, but JumpCutz makes a strong counter-argument.

Oh my word. At my last job (in an office setting, no less), at least once a week someone would randomly say "diabeetus" and the whole room would laugh. Never failed.

This is usually an issue with young females.

Jennifer Lawrence, for example, is only 23, but I'd totally buy her playing someone who was in their 30s. Not to say she doesn't look young, she just has the maturity to pull it off.

Not so much now that his actual age has caught up, but Micheal Chicklis was 28 when he started The Commish.

That is pretty crazy, especially considering he's only 3 years older than Luke Perry, who was playing a teenager at the same time Chiklis was playing a police commissioner.

John Slattery is 51, but looks older due to his white hair.

Angela Lansbury is the queen if this. First she was a hottie. If you see her early roles in the 1940s she was outstanding. I think it started with the Manchurian Candidate. She was younger than the dude playing her son. When she was banging out Murder She Wrote she was number one with all the geriatrics but she was only in her 50s.

Max Von Sydow. The old age makeup really holds up in The Exorcist, he was only in his 40s

Steve Martin comes to mind. He never looked "old" in his early career, but his hair color always made him seem older.

Re: Actors who look/seem older than their age?

Whenever I watch old westerns, I look up the various cast members on IMDB and am stunned to find out that guys who were only in their 40s were playing the old men in town. Many of them died in their 60s but looked much older. I suspect they drank and smoked a lot.

Brad Pitt is now the age that Wilford Brimley was when Cocoon was filmed.

Let's all take a moment to think about that and feel incredibly old.
