Gilmore Girls S1-S7 (not confirmed it's all of them)
Friends S1-S10 (all of them)
Six Feet Under S1-S5

Martin S1-4 can be had for 10 bucks or less at WM.com http://www.walmart.com/search/search..._top_rated:off

Chuck ???
Game Of Thrones seasons 1 and 2 for 12.96
I'm sure there were some other sets there as well, but the ones listed stood out to me, even though I will probably pass on all of them.

Thanks for the info. There are a couple there that I would have loved to have gotten, if I hadn't already paid a higher price for. Maybe they'll have something I still need though.
Some searching of their site shows
Carnivale: The Complete Second Season (Widescreen) sold out online
The Closer: The Complete First Season (Full Frame)
The Closer: The Complete Sixth Season (Widescreen)
Gilmore Girls: The Complete Sixth Season (Full Frame) sold out online
Gilmore Girls: The Complete Seventh Season (Full Frame) sold out online
The Secret Life Of The American Teenager: Volume 3 (Widescreen)
Also, for $7.96 and sold out online: Magic City: The Complete Second Season (Widescreen) which just came out on the 5th.

Looks like I'll have to go back later today and check out GoT. I *did* look today while there for some other stuff but the "shelf" price was the same (~$35) it's been for a while so I didn't bother to find a scanner. There was no separate display for those.

Looks like it's kind of a random thing... My Wal-Mart had a ton of Friends sets, Carnivale S1 (but no S2), a Chuck or two, Doctor Who 6.1 and 6.2, and a few others.

^That's a different section and selection. Those are in the wire racks in the regular DVD section with other $9.96 sets. The $8.96 ones mentioned here are in a free standing cardboard display in a isle.

No soap on GOT 1 & 2. Couldn't find a display with other titles (and forgot to look for Magic City at 7.99). Was the display in the electronics section with the other movies or up front?
I was irked that I had ordered Hart of Dixie & a Dr. Who set (got the other from Amazon for $8.96 & saved tax) but chose ship-to-store when they said they were in stock "today" since I had to go pick up two other orders anyway. The last ship to home orders had some floaters, so I figured I'd go ahead & pick up those items, too. The upshot is that the earlier items were there but the employee told me "Your money has been refunded for the other two items because we don't have them at this store" (despite what the website said). The Dr. Who is still available, but the Hart of Dixie is sold out online (of course).
I'm hoping that she was wrong about the order being cancelled...on my account it still lists both items as pending and waiting to ship to the store, so maybe I'll still get them at the sale price.

The smaller store here had it in the isle in front of Electronics. I didn't see it at the larger store - but I wasn't really looking for it there as I'd already checked it out at the smaller.

I think the Game of Thrones price cited by OP had to have been a mistake. I've been to two different Wal-Marts that had the $9.96 titles, but GOF was still $34.99. One store even had the HBO titles on the side of the discounted display.

I stopped by a WM today and saw most of these, Chuck was S5. They also had Entourage S1, S8. And an Everybody Loves Raymond Season, but I forgot which one.
Magic City rang up for the normal price. Darn it.

The Walmart I was in yesterday didn't have the display. Will have to keep an eye out for it if I visit any other Walmarts this week. Would like to pick up the Six Feet Under seasons I'm missing.
