Strange...I'd tested it, too. There was an "email a friend" link in the original message, so I don't think it's a "one time use" offer. Will investigate more tonight.

It seems to work only if you put items in your cart first and *then* use the link. As soon as you click on the link go to your cart and you'll see the discount. I've not gone forward with checkout but every time I've done this sequence the discount is there. If I browse and/or add even a single title it's gone again but going back to the link brings it back.
