Once again...Target has decided it was very important to move stuff around for no good reason.....the mainly classic TV wall is no more...it's....elsewheres. And some different titles too, which is good. Except I never got McMillan & Wife , S4, and S5, now they have S1 and S6 (sans "& Wife". Family Affair S 1 and S2, and well...some I can't remember. Should have taken a photo.
Some brainiac must think if folks have to search the whole department to find what they are looking for, they will find other DVDs' or Blu-rays to purchase. Who knows, perhaps they are right.

Yup, it's reset time for Target's media department. There were a few things that I wanted to pick up eventually that were gone but I was surprised by how much of the stock was kept the same (just moved to another spot). The only "major" changes that I saw were some new Christmas DVDs and the loss of an endcap to books. Interestedly, the store was still stocking what I consider summer product - Shark Week and shark docs. Not sure of the logic there.

7th Kingdom showed up for the first time around here (at least in the last several years).

Mad About You was gone, Boss S1 was gone, I think a season or two of Good Wife was taken away. It looked like Leverage (except S5) was gone. I think a season or two of Spartacus went away.

I've not been happy with Target's layout for the past several years. It's structured to make it harder, not easier, to find something. I think it has been designed to maximize impulse buys and conserve shelf space.
