I don't mind stopping and watching talk shows. It's fun to see the awful stuff that people do to themselves.

Infomercials! We now have TWO over-the-air channels that show nothing but infomercials, just as I predicted subchannels would widely be used for. Best one on right now is probably the Brazilian Butt-Lift. Sadly they haven't been running the one for Extenze (which enlarges "that special part of a man's body") anymore. That one cracked me up.

Maury

The episodes with the women who have names that you can't pronounce who are there for the 18th time for another paternity test in hope that they can find the father of their 5th brat. Then they don't because there are still 356 possible other men out there.

+1

I LOVE Maury! And my other was "What Not to Wear" on TLC, but Friday was the last episode.

Yeah, if it's on I will watch even knowing as I do it what fake trash it is. Same thing goes for Catfish.

No. No, you do not. At least compared to the Maury schmucks.

stupid TV winter hiatus...instead of catching up on a bunch of shows resting on my DVR, I got sucked into the Food Network last season.

And now... Cutthroat Kitchen (I miss Alton Brown's Good Eats.)

I used to watch the daytime soaps but got bored with them. I sometimes watch the Spanish soaps if nothing else is on.

Food and HGTV, I hate admitting it but they've become my main background stations.

And I watch Love it or List It and Property Brothers like I'm actually going to do some of those things. Turns out no.

MTV's Sorority Life is my all-time guilty fave. I guess Revenge would qualify as my current one.

Re: Your 'guilty pleasure' TV show?

Mine was Gossip Girl until some idiots decided to reunite Chuck and Blair and then make Dan Gossip Girl. Now it is probably The Good Wife or any of the Road Rules/Real World challenge shows.

Re: Your 'guilty pleasure' TV show?

Something that I like, but shouldn't like:

The Client List. Too bad that it's probably getting delayed or not coming back next summer because of J-Love Hewitt's problems with the Producers.

Beauty and the Beast, mainly because of Kristin Kreuk

Hot in Cleveland...I think it's one of the most underrated multi-cam sitcoms right now. Betty White will probably drop dead filming season 10.

Nashville....Connie Britton and Hayden P make this a fun watch.

Lost Girl....Anna Silk as a bisexual ass kicking succubus with a lesbian girlfriend. How can you not like this?

Hit the Floor...aired this past summer on VH1. Basketball cheerleader soap opera with massive amounts of eye candy.

Mistresses...fun little summer soap with Alyssa Milano. Glad it got renewed.

and how can I forget....Pretty Little Liars. I'm probably one of the biggest supporters of that show in this forum.

Melissa & Joey.

I don't know why I watch it, because it rarely makes me laugh. But it's a throwback to the Who's the Boss / Silver Spoons sitcom days, so it's like comfort food to me.
