Don't like the new promo picture. How are these girls going to get a education when the miss class all the time.
Stefan doesn't remember anything. I bet he'll fall in love with Elena again or fall in love with Matt.
I don't really care for the Silas story line. Thought the college stuff was more interesting.

Really? Harvesting Katherine's blood as another cure? That's interesting.
at Stefan suffering amnesia.
I admit, I thought the flashback to ancient Greece with Qetsiyah and Silas was an interesting event. This show never runs short of finding the hotties. Liked seeing Janina Gavankar here. I guess a lot of you guys here know her from The League, but she was also on Arrow last season.
I do agree with Baron though, I'd like to see more stuff with Elena and Caroline in college.

So can Katherine not become a vampire again? That would be a plausible explanation as to why she's still human and hasn't found a vamp to turn her.

I've finally caught up with this season. I love how they just tossed out the old witch's name. Removing Silas's mind powers was the right move, it made the character way too powerful.
So are these supposed to be actual gypsies or is this some new type of secret society chasing Silas?

If her blood is the cure, can she even be turned? Wouldn't any vampire who bit her automatically turn human? Good way to get rid of some vamps, give her the Matt ring and send her out to be vamp bait. They bite and voila, back to human.

You dont have to bite someone to turn them in the VD universe do you? I thought they just needed to die with vampire blood in their system.

oh yeah, I am an idiot. but if they did bite her for food, wouldn't they still be taking the cure?

Just caught up as well. I always find this show fun as mini-marathons.
Anyway, I echo everything everybody has said. Some really good developments. For a minute I thought Tessa made Daemon invisible since Elana blew by him to go to Stephan.
Happy with some of the plot developments this year. The pacing seems like it's back to S1 and S2 form too. I think one of biggest pluses is that Klaus is gone. He was okay at first, but they kept him around for way too long. He ended up being a huge broken record.
