Good price even if they are the repackaged thinpaks. Excellent series, great chance for someone to experience it. Just so you know, Fight the Future goes between Seasons 5 & 6, I Want to Believe waits till the end.

Given they would have to reconstruct the series the same as they are doing for TNG currently I wouldn't hold my breath for a proper blu-ray release.

I spent a fortune on the original releases of X-Files and Farscape. At least I have the sets with all the bonus material. I don't think the slim sets have all the extras. But this is still one helluva price for anyone who doesn't already own the series.

It shot back up to $296.98, although it's on Amazon Marketplace for $128.14 and $130.00 on eBay.

I'm only 29 and I remember when $20 would get you two (two!) episodes of Star Trek on VHS. Getting an entire season would cost you around $600. Bump that up to about $1000 if you were an aristocrat and wanted them on Laserdisc.
