Same here. It's an ok show so far. Will stick with it. Andy isn't too over the top and the rest of the cast is pretty good. Love Terry Crews in this.

Decent, not great ..... but compared to the other so-called comedies premiering so far, this is genius.

It's a funny show, Samberg makes for a good lead too. How are the ratings?

I enjoyed this episode as much as the pilot. Samberg is the right mix of cocky/smart-alec but flawed. Enjoying it about as much as I did The Office.

First episode pulled a very respectable 2.5 demo rating and was the most watched (overall) show on Fox last Tuesday. We'll know how last night did in a little bit.

I was thinking this, too. Also from a production standpoint. On Parks & Rec they use a lot of 'natural' lighting and the sets are built so they look like authentic office space. This show is obviously a set, its lighting is pretty bright and harsh, and it reminds me a lot of the look of Barney Miller. Like a stage play. It also sort of looks like it's shot on video.

The characters here are pretty weird. What's with the Admin Asst.? And the hard ass female cop is hard to read. But it's great how they fit so well with each other, like we're just looking in on an established squad. Good chemistry.

Re: Brooklyn Nine-Nine -- "The Tagger" -- 9/24/13

I was meaning to check out this show as I'm a fan of Andy Samberg. I missed the pilot but caught this one. Wasn't hilarious but it was amusing and had kind of an understated appeal. Thank God this is Office style and not a laugh track sitcom.

The cast of characters looks solid, though it's hard for me to see Joe Lo Truglio as anything but an unlikable creep.

I have to wonder about what Hader brought up on the recent Comedy Central Roast. There's only so many 'funny' crimes like vandalism you can feature to keep things light, not sure how the tone of the show would mix with rape and murder.

Well a murder was covered in episode one.

I'm liking the show so far...not enough to remember any names yet though, except Gina, cause I've got the hots for Chelsea Peretti. Liking the chemistry so far though, I'm pretty amused.

Exactly, I thought the second episode was pretty average but I see potential in this cast and set-up. Samberg is going to have to carry this show with his charisma.
