Why wait for the B&N sale?? Amazon and Best Buy have had a sale on Criterions for at least 2 weeks.

Uh yeah but not ALL Criterions...Only some as I have bought a few from Amazon- But thanks anyway-

Also...the slim chance that we get the B2G1 overlap. But I did buy some during the Amazon/BB sale...mostly the $15 tier. I'll wait for B&N for the $20 ones.

BN also discounts sets for the Criterion sale, don't they? I'm looking for a good deal on the "When Horror Came To ..." (spelling) set of Japanese horror.

It's 50% off list. Coupons , if any, and 10% membership discount ( in store only)
also apply. The only further discount that I am aware of is when a previous sale ie Buy 2 get one free over laps with the Criterion sale . This is online only and happens overnight when BN programs its website to discontinue one sale while setting up the other.

B&N has been tighten up the use of coupons. Formerly you were able to use coupons over and over again in store. Now each coupon has a unique number and can only be used once.

Yeah, that's what I meant. I think it retails at $60, so that would put it around $30 ... eh, not bad.

B&N sales usually end on a Monday.

Sometimes you can preorder ones that come out a week or two after the sale ends.

Anyone know approx. how long this sale is on until ???? I emailed them,(B&N), and they would not give me a firm answer!!! Any info would be greatly appreciated-

Sale got extended to Aug 5th which makes Devil's Backbone eligible for the sale. So I think the 5th is the last day you can buy Criterions at 50% off.

That is sweet! Do you know off hand if B&N charge you for preorders before they ship or only when they ship like Amazon?

The few times I've done preorders I think they've charged me before it ships. At least that is what I remember and I could be totally wrong about that.

B&N is releasing "The Devils Backbone" on the 23rd...1 week before everyone else...according to their website!

There was a big sign for that at the register. The girl who checked me out said they were "really promoting it".
