Nope your wrong. Other than that title, they have nothing in common. The Newsroom was originally called "More as the story develops" and is an original creation from Aaron Sorkin.

This is a bargain thread so I won't go into this any further. Saying it's a reboot series is still incorrect.

I'm really quite surprised Netflix put out House of Cards on DVD for retail release. I could see them pressing their own DVDs for their DVD service. But I thought House of Cards streaming was supposed to be a draw or an exclusive for them? Maybe they need the DVD sales to recoup costs on it?

Picked up Remington Steele Season 1, Season 2, Season 4 & 5 for $7.99 each. For some reason, can't find them online though. Was wondering why season 3 wasn't in store but there are no results online for the series at all. Weird.
