why has Sam Raimi gone vaginated
He created the modern day equivalent of the Dollars trilogy for our age, not even the Indiana Jones trilogy had the plain ol shameless bastardness to compare. And then just prolapsed down there making the heart warming Spiderman movies and this fuxking ewok thing. Why?

Raimi's never been great. He's about on par with the rest of his output. Haven't seen Oz yet.
Although I do really like The Evil Dead. IMO, it's a lot better than part 2.

To be fair, Raimi for most of his career, has been a hack.
Crimewave, The Quick and the Dead, For Love of the Game, The Gift, and Drag Me to Hell are all shit films.
If it wasn't for The Evil Dead and Spider-man trilogy, most wouldn't care about him.
... and if the man wanted to make another Evil Dead film, or something in the same vain that's not an abortion like Drag Me to Hell, we would've seen it already. The man should have some clout in Hollywood considering he directed three of the highest grossing films of all time.

Darkman seems to have its share of fans. I loved the 1st two Spiderman films and the evil dead trilogy. I don't know why people expect filmmakers to hit it out of the park everytime they make a movie.
