Tina and Amy would be awesome, but I don't think the oh-so prestigous Academy would want to be seen as copying the downmarket Golden Globes. I hope the GGs get those ladies for next year.

I'd rather have Robin Williams host using his southern preacher voice than watch Tina & Amy giggle at their own zingers and lap each others twats for three hours.

Since they were going to let Eddie Murphy host last year, sign him up for next year. I still think he could do a super job.

Ditto. Not a fan of either of them really. Particularly Tina Fey who I've always found extremely annoying and not funny in the slightest.

Conan O'Brien or Craig Ferguson could be interesting choices. I think if he had better material MacFarlane could be funnier than he was this year. I thought he was good for the most part at this year's show but could have been slightly better. Ricky Gervais was great at the Golden Globes the times he hosted so I could see him doing a good job. Who knows if he'll do another award show though or be invited back to do another after celebrities got all pissy over some of his jokes the last times he hosted.

Tina and Amy would be great. I like Conan, but I don't think his brand of humor would work at all.

Honestly, I've thought the hosts over the past decade or more have mostly been fine, with the exception of McFarlane and Hathaway/Franco. I've never understood why Ellen only did it once.

Right on! Jimmy Kimmel hands down gets my vote for next year.

And, I had high hopes but I thought that Seth McFarlane wasn't funny at all.

Kimmel would have to be a front runner because of the simple fact that he's on ABC.

What? I think that sitting through movie clips that I already saw, and rearranged trailers are a bore. The "moment of winning" and the comedy is what makes the ceremony tolerable.
