Can't believe Atlas Shrugged cracked the Friday top 10...I bet it gets pushed off for the weekend actuals.

Surprised Seven Psychopaths didn't do better.

Not really entirely surprised but I was hoping that Argo would do better.

Is Dredd becoming the next GOOD BURGER?

No... Good Burger made money. (Not mention grossed twice as much in the US, with 1997 ticket prices. - According to NATO the average price in 1997 was $4.59. I'm assuming were nearing a $8.00 average by now.)

In my defense for Good Burger, I was 11 at the time of its release.
Meh, I'm lazy. Fuck you Kevin James. Weekend Box Office Thread.

Also...Good Burger rocks man. I would seriously love it if Criterion actually put it out as a fucking awesome nod to the joke.

Happy to see the new Kevin James movie flop. Was hoping Argo would debut stronger, but perhaps it will have some staying power. Almost all of my friends loved it and are recommending it.
Did the first Atlas Shrugged even get a theatrical release? This movie seems to have come out nowhere.

Those folks don't generally rush out to see something on opening weekend.

If The Waterboy never existed and it was now done with Kevin James in the lead, everyone would hate it. But back then...it was entertaining. Same thing with Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore. It seems like people are growing up but those kinds of movies will still be made for the appropriate crowd.
Here Comes the Boom was not bad. I haven't seen any of his other movies though, but I'll say the supporting actors did a great job.
Also, I too saw both Good Burger and Dredd in theaters....good times.

Re: Paul Blart Presents Mixed Martial Farts Fails To Bomb Out The 10/12-10/15 Box Off
Total Recall 58 million
London Blvd 16,000
Fright Night 18 million
Horrible Bosses 117 million
The Way Back 3 million
Ondine 550,000
The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus 8 million
Crazy Heart 39 million
Pride and Glory 16 million
In Bruges 8 million
Cassandra's Dream 1 million
Before that we have to go back to 2006 and Miami Viice, which did 63 million
His most successful movies in the last 6 years were Total Recall, Horrible Bosses and Crazy Heart and the grosses for those 3 movies had absolutely nothing to do with him. And you can take Total Recall out because it was a massive flop compared to its budget.
Colin Farell is like box office kryptonite

Then again a movie like this also might not have anything to do with him, as it's a hard R ensemble piece (even though he's a lead).
