I enjoyed this movie. Didn't think it was great, but Kitano is pretty much enough to get me watching. had no idea there was already a sequel, and now comes the third. Guess I should have said 2 and 3. From blu-ray.com.

Takeshi Kitano Ready to Shoot Yet Another Outrage Movie

Japanese superstar and director Takeshi Kitano is apparently contemplating shooting a third Outrage film. The first film was a massive box office success in Japan in 2010. Its sequel, Outrage Beyond, was nominated for the Golden Lion Award at the Venice Film Festival, and is set to open in more than 200 theaters across Japan later this year.

According to an article published by Screendaily, Kitano has already been approached by producers willing to see a third film. Whether a third film materializes, however, will most likely be determined by how well Outrage Beyond performs at the box-office.

If this is the third one, why does the thread title say Outrage 2?

Forgot all about this - now called Beyond Outrage. Looks like they amped up the violence a bit. And looking on yesasia, it looks like it's already available on blu.

Part 2 looks pretty darn good. Looks like I might finally have to get around to watching part one.

Outrage: Coda - the third in Beat Takeshi's trilogy, is now available on digital. The first two were great, so I'm looking forward to checking this out.
