^ I agree about the Tatum/Worthington statement. Hollywood seems to determined to make him the next big action star. I also agree with the statement that it looks like The Brothers Grimm, I think it even has Peter Stormare.

Looks like a fun rental. I know it'll be a piece of shit.

I find it funny how this film got delayed several months, but the SyFy knock-off starring Shannen Doherty was released right on schedule:

Renner is vastly superior to both so I'm not sure about that.

If the film can maintain the tone of the trailer, I think it could be a fun, if not forgettable, time at the movies. I definitely like the concept, and witches are so underused these days.

I adore Gemma Arterton.

This looked like fun until Gretel got kidnapped. I hope that's an extremely brief part of the movie.

Dude, you know the climax will revolve around him getting her back, or something to that effect.

That's what I'm worried about. That part of the trailer looked incredibly boring.

The trailer doesn't do much for me, but I do find the premise pretty amusing. Might rent it from Redbox someday when I'm bored.

for some reason i didn't realize wirkola was the director or at least i didn't connect the dots that he directed DEAD SNOW....looks fun enough even though i hate cgi gore.

Wow. Did not expect it to be so gory. The previous trailer made it look like PG-13 fare.

I loved the faces on milk bottles.

Still don't like that it seems that Gretel spends a good chunk of the movie in "damsel in distress" mode.

I haven't watched either trailer, and especially won't watch the red band trailer to avoid major spoilers. But I was wondering whether the film is going to be PG-13 or R?

I've found some conflicting information online after seeing it listed as PG-13 on imdb.com. Filmratings.com does have a PG-13 listing for a film titled Hansel & Gretel: Warriors of Witchcraft' and one of the alternate titles is '':Witch Slayers." and ":Young Slayers", and imdb.com claims those are alternate titles for ":Witch Hunters".

So what is the story? It appears it may be dumped in January, since I thought it was originally supposed to be released earlier this fall. But it might be a fun film, and Famke Janssen is in it as one of the witches, and that alone has me interested. Gemme Arterton looks hot on the poster as well and is another incentive to see it.

This looks awful. Don't know what everyone else is seeing in it.
