Which Summer 2012 Movies Will You Own?
If someone feels this would be better suited for the BR/HD forum, then move it. However, since(I presume) everyone does not have the HD player, this could apply to any forum, and this discussion is about movies in general, I placed it in this forum.
I will start by saying that my need to buy summer blockbusters has waned in the past few years. I used to feel the need to get just about every blockbuster. Nowadays I only purchase what I really, really, liked.
My picks:
Avengers
Prometheus
Dark Knight Rises
Expendables 2- maybe
Ted- again, maybe. While I doubt it will happen, I would LOVE for this to come in a two pack with 1980's Flash Gordon.

EX2...maybe...I dunno. It was an ok film..but if it had a feature length doc of how they made that? I might bite cuz EX1 had a very good one. Of course...I'd be game for Sly commentary.

None. I like the Avengers but not enough to watch it multiple times and I won't go into another "The Dark Knight Rises isn't that great a film" rant to explain why I won't be buying it. I think Prometheus is self explanatory as to why I wouldn't want to own it.

Rock of Ages might be an impulse buy if they do a Black Friday thing with it, or I've got some beers in me and I stumble into a Best Buy. 
Gotta admit, it was fun. Same with Savages and Amazing Spider-Man, Black Friday situations only.

Avengers, Dark Knight Rises, Brave, Prometheus for sure. Maybe eventually Expendables 2, Ted, and Amazing Spider-Man when they get to the $10 range.

I already bought Battleship. One of the very few in this forum who enjoyed it.
Sad to say, although I loved the franchise, going to pass on The Bourne Legacy. That was probably my biggest disappointment of the summer.
