The Wolf of Wall Street (Scorsese, 2013) S: DiCaprio, McConaughey, Hill

Scorcese's new film:

A New York stockbroker refuses to cooperate in a large securities fraud case involving corruption on Wall Street, corporate banking world and mob infiltration.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0993846/

Based on a true story.

I'm guessing Ash Ketchum won't like this?

No, Faith Hill.

Actually, Jonah did a good job in Moneyball, I can see him going up against DiCaprio on this.

For all the flack Tim Burton gets about Johnny Depp to the point of sexual innuendo, Martin Scorsese's endless casting of Leo should be noted as well. What's the deal?

Many directors work with actors they think are talented and have a good rapport with. And Scorsese makes much better use of DiCaprio than Burton does of Depp lately.

I don't find it as bothersome because Scorsese makes better overall films than Burton does and makes good use of DiCaprio whereas with Burton, Depp just seems to be his go to guy no matter what.

I was just talking about this with a colleague the other day. The story behind this is pretty incredible; I find it amusing that the guy is a motivational speaker now.

It's not mean to be a documentary. I liked it alright. Margin Call was excellent though.
