The Last Ride (starring Henry Thomas as Hank Williams Sr.)
Henry Thomas from E.T., turns 41 this year. That's more than a decade older than Williams ever got to be. However, Williams did live a hard life.
After the successful biopics of recent years, I'm surprised it took this long. George Hamilton played Williams about 50 years ago, and John Boy Walton played Hank Williams Jr. about 30 years ago.
Although, this isn't a full bio, just an accounting of his last few days.

My first thought was "good casting", my second thought was "wait, Thomas has to be about 40 now". My third though is that Williams Sr. looked much older than 29 at the end of his life, and Thomas still looks pretty youthful, so I think this will work out fine.
