"Through the legs" is a little unfair. The For Your Eyes Only poster was so popular, iconic, and controversial in its day that every single one of those other posters is deliberatly riffing on it and is conscious that it is doing so. The others are just cliches from unoriginal/lazy marketing departments.

There are only so many things you can do with a movie poster. You could probably call it "25 movie poster cliches" and be able to list 99% of every poster that's been produced.

I have to laugh at the "back to back" having a load of stuff from the past 20 years and then "Adam's Rib" which was made in the late 40s. Like "For Your Eyes Only" it was fresh at the time.

I am shocked that from 20,000 movies, the blogger was able to find up to two dozen examples to support each of his theories.
