R.I.P. Warren Stevens

He passed away from respiratory failure at the age 92.

Forbidden Planet's "Doc" Ostrow has gone to join the Krell.

He was also very fine as the leader of the extra-galactic aliens in the Star Trek TOS episode "By Any Other Name".

RIP

That's too bad. One of my all-time favorite movies.

What I forgot to mention in my post was that it was quite a surprise to me as I had assumed he passed away some time ago.

I remember him mostly from his guest shot on Star Trek and M*A*S*H.
