I saw a few trailers for this and it looks interesting. Glad it's an R-rated horror movie and not some PG-13 nonsense. I'm a sucker for R-rated horror. Anyone seeing this? Is it really supposed to be in real-time, according to what the trailer says?

I'll probably check this out sometime soon but the "real time" gimmick has me a little worried.

Saw it last night. It had some cool spooky moments and a cool scene with a polaroid camera. They're some tense moments and the movies moves at a brisk pace. The one shot thing was cool but doesn't come off gimmicky. And quite frankly what I liked about it is that you felt like you were there and counldn't get away. There was no editing shots or fade to black to give you a moment to relax and think.

but it kept my interest throughout mainly because of the isolation you feel cause the house is a boarded up and has no power.

Shit, absolute shit.
That said I really liked the first half or so but then it falls apart probably more than any movie I've ever seen. The groans in the theater after the movie ended were quite loud.

Agreed. The wife and I saw this one today and both hated it. It started off well enough but completely fell to shit as it progressed.

I saw this tonight.
I enjoyed it for the most part. It was a pretty decent low budget horror movie. Very suspenseful and a good performance by Elizabeth Olsen.
However, I was a little disappointed with the big reveal that:
I wish they would have gone a different direction more closer to The Strangers from 2008. That movie, which had a somewhat similar idea, scared the shit out of me.
I'd give this a B-
