For seeing musicians in concert.

That is, what artist/band have you seen for the longest number of years in a row. You're obviously limited by bands who don't tour often enough.

This will be my 5th year that I see The Pogues live. I've seen other bands more, but not in consecutive years.

It would have to be REO Speedwagon. 1973,74,75,76,77

I believe I've seen Eddie Vedder either solo or with Pearl Jam 2006-2011, if that counts.

This is tours in a row not years. The Stones from 1975 to 2005. We should have gone to the 1972 tour at the Garden but we were fucked over by a misbred grey executive whose house we painted but then he realized it was alot more difficult to get tickets than he thought.

I've seen The Flaming Lips every year since 2006. They played a show here that year, and then in 2007 they did a New Year's Eve show which has become an annual tradition every NYE, and I've gone to all of those.

If we count tours, U2 at least twice a tour since WAR/1983...I did miss Sting on this last tour, but that was a record since 1981 (The Police or Sting every tour since then)

Until the death of Peter Steele, I'd seen Type O Negative every time they played in So Cal since around 1994.

Stevie Ray Vaughan every year from 1985 to 1989. I would have loved to have seen him in 1990 too

I've seen 311 75 times since 1995. No shows in 1998 though, but every other year. Surprisingly I've never seen them in the month of January either - but they rarely tour then.

Jimmy Buffett - 1998-2011
Umphrey's McGee - 40 shows, at least one a year, from 2004-2011. Seeing them next week.

Not sure I've seen any band once a year, but I've seen both The Flaming Lips and Sonic Youth 7 times each. Bowie is in second place with 5. I can definitely say that Bowie is my record for most concerts I've seen by a single artist in one month, with four.
