A group of five mountaineers are hiking and climbing in the Scottish Highlands when they discover a young Serbian girl buried in a small chamber in the wilderness. They become caught up in a terrifying game of cat and mouse with the kidnappers as they try to get the girl to safety.

I was pleasantly surprised by this. It's actually a pretty good thriller. Lots of good actors in the roles.

Great camerawork and cinematography.

It's worth seeing if you like thrillers.

Pretty solid movie. Definitely worth checking out.

I always love watching Melissa George movies on cable. Looks like this'll be another example.

I loved Melissa George in Triangle. I'll have to check this out.

Sure enough, just got done watching this on Showtime.

I thought more of the movie would've taken place in the woods/mountains, but still didn't really mind the transition to the village area by the time this ended (Always wanted to see a new, revamped version of a Shoot To Kill-type of movie. And, IMO, A Lonely Place to Die succeeds at being that)

For real, the first half of this looked SPECTACULAR in HD. Plenty of the scenic static shots looked like they were in 3-D.
