Ti West made me a fan of his work after House Of The Devil. Definitely going to check this one out.

Yeah, not bad. It doesn't look as good as House of the Devil, but I'm willing to be proven wrong.

BTW, I like the theatrical poster as well (I think it's actually better than Mondo's recent rendition).

Thanks for the heads up. Watched it tonight and loved it. Ti West is fast become one of my favorite horror directors.

just got done watching it and i thought it was great. sara paxton is adorable. if you enjoyed HOUSE OF THE DEVIL then i have a feeling you'll enjoy this as well however i'd put this one a small notch below it. i really hope Ti West keeps this streak of effective low budget horror films going.

I watched this one a bit earlier tonight. I honestly didn't care for it all that much. I think I was just expecting a bit too much from it. I did really like Sarah Paxton though...she was a highlight.

I watched this last night and couldn't agree more with you guys...she was great in that dorky/awkward way.

I liked the movie quite a bit and I hope West can keep doing these types of films. I know they are slower paced than most horror films, but I like how they take their time.

Agreed. It was a big letdown. I thought I had found a really well made little indie until the last ~1/4th of the film, then I was rather pissed I had wasted my time on it. A shame to have a movie go so far in runtime being enjoyable, only to be completely let down by a hack director in the last 1/4 of the film.

Sara Paxton did a good job in her role.

Oh yeah...

Let's just say that besides Sara being fine in her role, and the other actors also IMO, our opinions differ on the overall film then.

Not particularly a lot that I can find, but she was just in Stakeland.

Sara Paxton was good (the rest of the cast was solid as well). I'd give the film a 2/5 or a "C".

Any good will that he earned with me for the great House of the Devil has been minimalized by his 'hey look at me, I'm ironically cool' douchbaggy pic that he has up on his imdb page. That said, I hope the Innkeepers lives up to the trailer.

Horrible movie with no scares. The trailer was much better.
Didn't care for the non ending either.
Reminded me of the old film Burnt Offerings but not as scary.
