For any Andrew Bird fans out there, Andrew Bird scored and wrote some new songs for a film I wrote called NORMAN. The soundtrack releases on October 11th, 2011 (10 days before the film's release) and has his score, new songs and also features music from The Blow, Wolf Parade, Richard Swift, and Chad VanGaalen.

I gotta say (I know I'm biased) but I think all the music's great. And I had never heard Chad VanGaalen before seeing the movie, but I really liked what I heard of him as well.

If you're interested in buying the soundtrack, the movie has a kickstarter page to raise some money and at the $50 contribution level you get a copy of the soundtrack (plus some other goodies.)

Heard the new version of the song Wolf Parade has on there. Nice stuff.
