Not sure that there is that much interest in Combat ... I have been trying to sell a SS Complete Set locaaly on CL for months with no takers.

You'd think they would have done this yesterday for the D-Day anniversary.

Great series, but the set has some PQ issues in the first season and all the seasons are time compressed except for the last one. Kind of a letdown from IMAGE, who usually does good by their TV releases. Still, it will probably never see the light of day again, so it's worth picking up at some point before it goes OOP.

As for it not selling on Craig's, I would never try to sell DVDs on CL. It's like a garage sale mentality there, everybody wants everything for nothing.

I agree with you about the "garage sale mentality" of many of the people that peruse CL but I think that is changing ... I suspect it varies by local ... Newspaer advertising is ridicuosly expensive (and who reads the paper anymoe) ... My sister uses CL successfully to rent her 3,000+ SF house in Santa Barbara annually for the last 5 years ... I have had good luck selling more expensive items on CL ... Patience is the watchword ... I have people drving up to my house in $60,000 cars to buy some of my items (even wealthly people recognize a good deal when they see it) ... I ended up with two copies of Band of Brothers (don't ask) and sold the SS copy for $35 on CL w/o much problem.

Given how the set doesn't seem to be moving, there will probably be better deals down the line on it.
