TGG ( Fox / MGM ) collections at Barnes & Noble
I was at Barnes & Noble today and found some new collections by TGG Direct.
These new sets do NOT contain their usual public domain titles. They have movies from FOX / MGM.
I purchased the "thriller triple feature" with the following films:
Leviathan ( WIDEscreen )
Lifeforce ( WIDEscreen - 116 min version )
Burnt Offerings ( WIDEscreen )
NOTE: The back of the DVD case does NOT list, if the movies are in WIDEscreen or FULLscreen.
It was only $6.99.
There are NO extras.
The movies are on 2 SINGLE sided discs.
Leviathan and Burnt Offerings are on the first disc. Lifeforce is on the other disc.
I don't remember the titles of the other collections. I think they were "action films".

Some of these have been at Target for a while- I'm really annoyed they don't specify the screen format, as some of these movies have previously been on DVD only in 4x3, but might or might not be 16x9 on these new discs. (I've seen a number of MGM-owned titles on Netflix streaming and Vudu in 16x9 which were only 4x3 on DVD, so they have unused widescreen masters for some movies!)
