I haven't heard of most of these albums, by posting this I was hoping to get some advice from other DVD Talk members on these albums.

Can't go wrong with 'Exile On Main Street - Remastered 2010' for $3.99

THIS REVIEW just convinced me to buy the Kanye West album.

Is that one of their better albums? I have never been much of a Stones fan for some reason.

Wish the CD versions were offered at a similar discount.

It's probably their best, but of course others will disagree. It's not quite as accessible as some of their other stuff though, so I'm not sure I'd recommend it as a first Stones album.

The Arcade Fire album is very good as well (at least I think so).

Well, it was picked as Album of the Year by Rolling Stone, Spin, Time and Entertainment Weekly magazines, among others. Yes, it's pretty great. It was my favorite album this year, though I'm not a huge record buyer.

That Arcade Fire album, The Suburbs was my second favorite, and a Grammy nominee for Album of the Year.

If you don't buy many records then I guess that is saying a lot.
I will have to listen to the samples of that Arcade Fire album.

Officially, you get one download. Unofficially, I've heard that some people have been able to re-download files they've lost by asking customer service nicely.

Since they're not copy protected, you can (and should) back them up somewhere safe.

If you're looking for a good first Stones album, 7digital has most of their catalog on sale for $3 apiece. Aftermath, Beggars Banquet, Let it Bleed, and Sticky Fingers are really good places to start. Or if you can't pick, they've got The Singles Collection: The London Years for $7, which has a lot of good tracks for the price.

I'm embarrassed but $1.98 for Teenage Dream seemed too good to pass up. I'm not immune to enjoying sugary pop music when it's done right. From what I've heard Katy Perry does.

I will have to buy a lot of rock albums in 2011 to make up for this one, though.

But MANY thanks to the OP for posting this. Picked up Kanye's (which has been on my radar for awhile) for $1.99.

I went ahead and bought that one too. I did not use that $2 coupon code on the Kanye West album so I figured I pretty much had to buy one more for only two bucks. Thanks for that coupon code FatTony it worked perfectly.

The Suburbs and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy would have run me approx $26 w/tx at Best Buy, instead I got both of them for about $6.48 w/tx Thanks for the Christmas present Amazon!

Oh and that Kanye West album has TONS OF BASS on it like his 808s & Heartbreak album. I take it all of his albums are like this? In fact the only reason I bought 808s & Heartbreak was because someone recommended it for a subwoofer workout.

For $1.99 I can put aside my hatred of Kanye as a person to try this album.

Exile's a stone classic and must have if you don't have it.

Kanye's album is probably the best thing he's ever done and is pushing into "masterpiece" territory the more I listen to it. I didn't get the hype over his previous albums, but this one has made me a believer. Seriously, in a few years I bet this will be seen as one of the best albums of the decade... because it is.

The Arcade Fire album is a good listen with a bunch of really solid songs. To me, however, that band takes themselves way, way too seriously. They genuinely believe that they're "artistes" and the pretention gets a little old after a while.

Everything else isn't really worth buying.
