I don't personally own it or have rented it yet, but tonight my parents tell me they've tried twice to rent Disney's A Christmas Carol from Redbox recently and both times the disc is skipping or refusing to play. I googled when I got home, found no news, but there are discussions popping up.

Is there a big bad batch of standard DVDs of this movie floating around?
