Image can give us a useless open-matte DVD, but they can't be bothered to give us a 1.85:1 1080p BD release?

Nothing for me this week.

Not to be Captain Obvious or anything, but if they think the market for this would be happy with a fullframe transfer, why in the world would they ever bother with a BD release...of any aspect ratio? I'm not saying there is no market, but obviously Image doesn't think so based on their SD release.

I think Bastard Swordsman and Return of Bastard Swordsman come out on the 7th. Not an opening week purchase, but definately later on.

What's with all of these re-releases from Image Entertainment? Are they going to be cheap budget titles / bargain bin? I wonder what the new packaging for Short Circuit 2 looks like? Did they change the old cover of See No Evil, Hear No Evil? Just wondering.

The last re-releases like Red Planet, The Avengers, ect,. from a few weeks back ... I've never ran into any of them. Has anyone spotted any of these re-releases?
