Blade. The rest of the movie was still good, just not as kick ass, as the opening scene.

HATED "First Contact"... They were right on the money with that one.

I love how the reader who submitted 2012 describes the first 45 minutes of the movie and not the opening scene. [Not that I'm defending it, but all of the film's "money shots" didn't start to appear until almost the first hour in.]

Entertainment Weekly and its readers are both stupid.

I feel the same way about Cube. (The first one, of course.)

Darkness Falls. The first 5-10 minutes are really good, then the rest of the movie is just overly cliched, Hollywood PG 13 horror crap.

I disagree with Predators being on that list. Not even its opening scene was worth watching, much less the rest of the movie.

Yeah, a lot of Bond movies could make this list.

I'm going to pick MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 3, though.

Wolverine. Good opening and an awesome credit sequence as him and Creed are shown in various wars. All downhill from there (and I'm one of the people that didn't think the movie was that bad)

Don't get me wrong. I love the rest of the movie, but there was no way it could live up to that amazing opening scene with Sarah Silverman.

I'm going to strongly disagree with that one.
