Re: DVD Talk New-To-DVD Theatrical Release and Discussion Thread

I remember you saying that Buena Vista was planning on releasing Tangled in April in order to not compete with Harry Potter when it was rumored to be released in mid-March. So now if Harry Potter comes out in April, do you think there's a chance that Tangled could be released in March?

Unless I chicken out, if I buy everything that I want that is supposed to come out in February, it will easily surpass any month I've ever had in terms on money spent and new releases, sprinkled in with the catalog titles. And I just saw Out of Sight is 3/1, which might as well be Feb 29th. Wow.

Re: DVD Talk New-To-DVD Theatrical Release and Discussion Thread

Could someone tell me which DVD should I buy: Despicable Me or The Other Guys? I haven't seen either one. Please tell me, as I don't wanna waste money on renting both first and then deciding which one I should buy. Blockbuster is too expensive.

Re: DVD Talk New-To-DVD Theatrical Release and Discussion Thread

I ended up buying Despicable Me. Great movie. Loved every bit of it.

On the other hand, I rented The Other Guys from Redbox. I thought it was a good movie, but not great. Again, that's just my opinion. It had its funny moments. But I'm glad I picked up Despicable Me.

I agree, Our tastes our Simular. This week really the only movie that holds my interest are Cyrus and The Town. all the others i will wait until blockbuster has them marked down to 3 for 20.
